DANIELLE BEVACQUA
Danielle is the owner of Dare to Dream Graphics and has been a Member since 2004, with a short break to raise her little ones. Danielle designed our new website, our newsletters and handles changes and maintenance on the web-site. Danielle is also very active with other committee's in ABWA and has been Chair & Co-Chair of many of our functions over the years.
Community
SOMER CARLIN
Somer is a dedicated new member of ABWA, quickly stepping into active roles that make a difference. As a proud mother to her son Avery and the owner of Braids by Somer, she brings passion and creativity to everything she does. This year, Somer taken on the role of community chair, where she has already introduced fantastic initiatives to give back to our community. Her enthusiasm and passion is truly inspiring!
Scholarship
KAREN PENFOLD
Karen currently holds the position as Scholarship Director for ABWA. Our local Chapter has an annual scholarship, the SBMEF Impact Scholarship, available to eligible Western New York women residents living in Erie or Niagara County with a minimum of 60 credit hours and attending a WNY accredited degree program.
She has been at CTBK for the past eighteen years and has enjoyed the environment and the clients she works with. CTBK is a local public accounting firm in Amherst, that takes a one-team approach to all projects, providing clients with innovative solutions paired with a human connection in a digital world.
Karen is married to Tim and they have four children together, Justin (42), Jacquelyn (40), Bobby (37), and Chrissy (34).
Karen hopes everyone is able to make time in their busy lives and schedules to become a part of ABWA. Not only will it be an integral part of your professional and personal growth, it is an opportunity to make new friends, enhance your network, broaden your knowledge, and join a synergistic group.
